A short but interesting fact.
On the 10th May the Whitehouse’s first telephone was installed in 1877.
This may have been a good thing may have been a bad thing. It is amazing to think that for one sentance that telecommunications made it into the Whitehouse the conversations that must have taken place from that line.
Such things as the Cuban Missile Crisis, the first and second world wars. The Iraq wars. The list is endless and all this from one little sentence.
